I'm New

Our Church was founded in 1984 when a couple from Perth, Australia moved to Norwich to start a church and we've been going ever since!

We are a pentecostal church for all people. Every member of our diverse congregation has a unique testimony of what Jesus has done in their life. The vision of this Church is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to Norwich and beyond. We do so through local outreach, preaching, music ministry, and by planting churches.

We have daughter and granddaughter churches in Bury St Edmunds, Doncaster, Erdington, Glasgow, Ipswich, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Peterborough,  Portsmouth, Rugby, Solihull, Walsall, Worcester & Stockholm.

We are part of Christian Fellowship Ministries, which has over 2,200 churches worldwide.

Pastor Paul Boddy

Since 2010 we have been led by Pastor Paul Boddy.

In 1998 Pastor Paul and Penny Boddy were sent to pioneer a new church in Erdington, Birmingham. After 12 fruitful years, they returned to their hometown of Norwich to takeover the leadership of the Norwich Church.
Pastor Boddy's walk with Jesus began in 1992 when he was painting orphanages in Romania.  A drug and alcohol abuser, he was a troubled hedonist.  When a fellow volunteer, from our Church, began to tell him about what Jesus could do in his life he dismissed the idea offhand.  That evening he asked God to speak to him, and he received instant deliverance from his addictions.

Pastor Adam Claxton

Assistant Pastor

In 2017 Pastor Adam and Chantella Claxton were sent to take over the leadership of a pioneer church in Southampton.  In 2020  they returned to Norwich for Pastor Adam to become our Assistant Pastor.
Pastor Adam was raised in our congregation, over his teenage years he wrestled with his faith, however, when Pastor Boddy took over the leadership of our Church in 2010, Adam made a conscious decision to commit to discipleship and build his relationship with God.

What to Expect

We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team for about 15 minutes, followed by a sermon of approximately 30-40 minutes.   All together a typical service will last about 75 minutes. A nursery is available for children under the age of 3.

We're a friendly church, so feel free to  stop by the welcome desk if you need any help. Plan to hang around after the service to grab a coffee and meet new people.

We're taking Covid19 seriously, and have adapted our services. However, no gathering of people is risk free, and if you are nervous around groups of people we'd encourage you to watch our services on livestream.

Covid precautions:
All seating is by household, with at least 1 metre spacing between rows.
A one way system is in operation in the building.
Mask wearing is mandatory.
Hand sanitiser is available at all entrances.
We have scheduled more cleaning.
